Wicked Witches mix a Spell for Success!

AtmosFEAR! Street Theatre created quite a stir when two cackling hags made an unexpected appearance at the launch of Carnegie Publishing's new book Wicked Enchantments; A history of the Pendle Witches & Their Magic, at The Pendle Heritage Centre in April 2010.

The meddlesome pair were invited to mix and mingle with guests and members of the public attending the launch of the book detailing the history and magic of the real life Pendle witches.

After taking part in a photo call for the local press, our street theatre characters entertained an appreciative audience of history lovers, real witches and local dignitaries, before whipping up a spell to ensure the book would be a critical success!
