AtmosFEAR!’s Site Specific Theatre shocks, scares, entertains and educates the audience by combining storytelling, music, improvisation, classic theatre, interactivity and scare entertainment. Spooky children’s shows, illusion spectaculars and scary sideshows can all be produced as one off, touring, or residential theatrical shows.
Site Specific Theatre shows use the constraints and characteristics of the host venue as part of the performance. By staging drama in appropriate real world settings, audiences easily engage with the production, lending greater authenticity to the performance. Our productions immerse the audience in the theme by taking the action off the stage and placing it in and around the seated, or standing, audience. In the case of promenade style performances the audience will follow the scareactors around the host venue as they experience the show, in the case of environmental theatre the drama will use the location itself to help impart the narrative.
AtmosFEAR! can produce and operate a Site Specific Theatre show within your existing theme or storyline, or develop content around a new brief.
