AtmosFEAR! Street Theatre at
Scare Kingdom Scream Park 2009
AtmosFEAR! created a band of creepy cohorts to accompany Scare Kingdom Scream Park's 2009 icon character King Morbius on his nightly parades around the kingdom terrifying guests.
Taking inspiration from Scare Kingdom Scream Park's detailed backstory, a series of characters from the Undead Court were created, including a grinning jester called Loki, a sorceress named Yersinia and the king's own beloved Queen Mortavia.
The street theatre performers were tasked with plussing the park's main attractions by offering entertaining diversions while guests were waiting is the queue lines.
Using the natural darkness to their advantage the characters managed to cause considerable alarm as guests navigated their way around, even making their way to the car park and down to the main entrance road - one character even climbed inside a car, much to the distress of the nervous occupant!
On Bonfire Night, during the park's Fireworks Phantasmagoria! a sinister Guido Fawkes was added to the mix to provide a seasonal chill with an historic theme. |
