A Spellbinding Trick or Treat
Hubble Bubble was AtmosFEAR!'s first site specific theatre production aimed at children under 10 years of age. Featuring a musical score, games, fun and lots of audience interaction, the show was installed at Scare Kingdom Scream Park in 2009 where it played to full houses over 5 days.
Audiences were invited to join friendly witch sisters Toil & Trouble as they cooked up a spell to keep everyone entertained in a 40 minute theatrical interactive experience, featuring interactive songs, games and fun. Audiences met Gabbledigook, Trouble's spooky speaking spellbook, and helped the witch sisters find enough socks and the right ‘spell’ to cook up a spellbinding treat in their magic cauldron!
The Grimsditch sisters live together in 'Cobweb Cottage' at Scare Kingdom Scream Park, Toil is friendly and funny, Trouble is moody and bossy! The other sisters, Mildred, Salem, Gertrude, Hagatha and Hazel are not seen. Gabbledigook is a troubled spellbook who really wants to be a storybook, and Sir Scare-a-Lot is a character from Scare Kingdom’s backstory, who linked the Kingdom with the Hubble Bubble attraction.
The show is now available as a self contained children's production utilising three performers, lavish costumes and makeup, a sound system and a small set. |
