A Ghost’s Story for Christmas…

This Christmas season Samlesbury Hall presents The Lady in White – A Ghost’s Story for Christmas – a promenade theatre play designed for families and lovers of ghost stories.  Travel back in time as a tragic love story comes vividly to life in the candle-lit hallways of Lancashire’s most haunted house.  The Lady in White combines live actors and theatrical storytelling to present a seasonal Christmas play which tells the 16th century tale of Lady Dorothy Southworth – the Hall’s most famous ghost…  Step into the story as the action unfolds around you in a promenade performance with a little festive fright!

Performances last approximately 40 minutes and begin at 6pm, 7pm, 8pm, 9pm and 10pm on December 13th, 14th, 16th, 19th, 20th and 23rd 2021.  Tickets are £15 (+ booking fee) per person and must be booked in advance at www.samlesburyhall.co.uk

Scarefields Fright Fest signs AtmosFEAR! Scare Entertainment

Scarefields Fright Fest, a brand new Halloween scare entertainment event which is coming to Cardiff in 2022, has signed AtmosFEAR! Scare Entertainment as designers of the scare mazes, logo’s and visuals for their forthcoming project.

The multi-attraction event is now in early production and will be located at a venue close to the city.  Slated for the 2022 scare season, Scarefields plans to offer a variety of theatrical scare entertainment and further details will be posted as they become available at www.scarefields.com

Based on the 17th century Germanic ‘Walpurgisnacht’ festival – the night where witches and warlocks meet on May Day’s Eve, Scare Kingdom Scream Park’s Walpurgis Night combines immersive theatre, horror and comedy with live scareactors and special effects for a truly chilling experience!

Follow in the footsteps of mALICE as you enter Manormortis – Underland, a twilight world inhabited by a carnivorous caterpillar and an insane Hatter.  A hoard of deadly denizens await you as you navigate through 23 rooms in search of escape, but be warned, for this is no fairtyale…

Investigate a strange case of old London town, as you pay a visit to Brimstone & Black’s notorious funeral parlour in Body Snatchers – The Highgate Vampire.  Making his roost in the old undertakers, the legendary blood-sucker is on the hunt, in this scare maze experience with plenty of ‘bite’.

Check in to ‘freak out’ at the grottiest b&b this side of Hell, for an intimate short stay inside Psychomanteum – Dirty Weekend.   (18+ only, entry in pairs, extra charge applies).

Walpurgis Night will open its doors for one night only on Saturday 5th June 2021 from 6.30pm with last entry at 9.30pm.  Tickets are £13.00 (plus bf) per body if booked online in advance.  A limited number of tickets will be available on the door at £15.00 per body.  A licensed bar will be available.

Scare Kingdom Scream Park wins ‘Scare Event of the Year 2020’ from public scare entertainment fansite ‘Parks, Scares & Glitter’.

Parks, Scares and Glitter said “So many events deserve to be mentioned here as there really were so many amazing events that managed to open but Scare Kingdom were able to run both a normal event in February and a covid event in Halloween as well as somehow managing to open their Psychomanteum attraction. They brought the terror and deserve to be recognised for it.”

Trawl through the old cellars of Brimstone & Black’s insidious funeral parlour in search of Dick Turpin.  In an attempt to evade capture, England’s most famous highwayman has hidden himself in a secret chamber deep beneath the streets of Old Whitechapel…  Will you discover Dick in the Dark?

PSYCHOMANTEUM – RAINBLOW

The world-renowned scare entertainment experience returns with an all-new assault on the senses.  Officially dubbed ‘the UK’s sickest attraction’, Psychomanteum is shocking and graphic in equal measure.  Experience a fictional retro kid’s television show presented by Godfrey, and featuring Zipit the foul-mouthed hand puppet and BUMgle the bear, as rehearsals go horribly wrong…

Psychomanteum – Rainblow admits guests in pairs who are aged 18+ only. Proof of age is required.  Additional charge of £6.00 per body applies.
